 About us 

We are a family of five, Selwyn and Virginia as mum and dad, Tom, Ed and Beth in descending order. 

This is a 500 acre working farm with extensive views over Ryedale. The view to the north east which is almost visible in the above photo shows RAF Fylingdales at 24 miles. 

We keep four dogs, one cat, three geese and a variety of farm animals. We grow much of our own food in the garden. 

There are many beautiful places to visit in North Yorkshire both in and out of civilization. There is a 'places to visit' page within this site for some ideas. Please contact us for any information regarding local events and attractions if it cannot be found online. 

Our nearest city is York, which is home to a wonderfully grand Minster, among other architectural and historical treasures, and also perhaps the best choice of eateries in North Yorkshire.
